After having shied away from anything fitness-related her entire life, Sally hesitantly walked through the doors of a yoga studio in 2015 and immediately fell in love with the practice. Any preconceived notions of what she thought it meant to be a yogi were shattered after realizing that “yoga is for everyone” wasn’t just a pretty saying, it was the truth.
Her teachers have always made her feel welcome stepping onto the mat in a room full of strangers and she strives to do the same in her own classes. By emphasizing the use of props and modifications coupled with a sequence aimed to teach proper alignment, Sally aims to safely guide her students through the physical postures as a tool to further understand their minds and bodies. She hopes to inspire and empower beginners and advanced students alike to transmit love and compassion for themselves and others on and off the mat.
Sally completed her 200-hour certification with Jenny Schuck and Allison Ray Jeraci at Yoga Culture in 2016. She honestly believes that no matter where you are in life you can start a new passion, and she hopes to share hers through a teaching style that is sincere and compassionate.
