Jillian believes yoga is a practice of self-love and care that brings a harmonious balance to both the body and the mind. Not only is she a passionate yogi, but she is also an award winning singer, dancer, actress, and songwriter who is overjoyed to be teaching at Yoga Culture. Her deep passion for yoga blossomed when she was searching for a way to bring balance into her life as a performing artist. Ever since she began her yoga journey, she has found a deep sense of belonging, a higher level of self-awareness, and a compassionate community of super cool yogis. Jillian completed her 200-hour teacher training certification from Yoga Culture in August 2018. She hopes to uplift her students and inspire them to embrace their natural essence and love all that they are. She cherishes the peace, clarity, and joy it brings to her life and her students. She wants her students to shine as brightly as possible so they are able to share that radiant light with the world. This spring Jillian will graduate from Western Connecticut State University with a BFA in Musical Theatre. She will be pursuing careers in both theater and yoga teaching, aspiring to one day bring the serenity of yoga practice into the fast-paced world of theater.
