Jason first wandered into Yoga Culture because he was beginning to feel as if stress might take over his life. That first hour on the mat showed him that it was possible to take control of his well-being – even if it was only for that one hour. As he continues his exploration of yoga, he's learning that if he finds a sense of clarity or calm at the end of his practice, it's not just a result of working the body, breathing exercises, or time spent in meditative silence alone. Cultivating a sense of inner peace comes from learning about and accepting yourself, and all the elements of a yoga class are there to help.
Jason completed his 200-hour certification at Yoga Culture in 2017. Outside of yoga, Jason enjoys reading and playing violin (you can catch him performing with the Danbury Community Orchestra!).
