Ally took her first ever yoga class at Yoga Culture back in 2012, and noticed how her day changed for the better after the hour spent on her mat. As a dancer recovering from a serious knee injury, Ally was thrilled to find that yoga knit together her passion of movement with breath and mindfulness. Seeing how her yoga practice healed her physical injury as well as eliminated stress, Ally was inspired to share this practice with others. She received her 200-hour certification in 2016 from Yoga Culture with Jenny Schuck and Allison Ray Jeraci. Ally hopes to show her students that yoga is accessible to anyone, and that the benefits of yoga are visible on and off the mat. In her spare time, you can find Ally teaching middle school English, or buried in a book.
