Happiness is defined in many ways. We each have our own set of circumstances that make us feel happy. I hope that coming to yoga and being part of our yoga community makes you happy. Perhaps the effect your practice has on your physical body makes you happy. You are thrilled your back feels better after your practice. Researchers have shown that taking stock of the small things adds to our happiness.Maybe it's the sun on your face, laying in a hammock, the smell of fresh cut grass, being with friends and family. Take time to notice the small stuff.
During our practice I asked everyone to think about those little things. Keep finding joy in the small miracles. Antonia Montoya wrote "Find gratitude in the little things and your well of gratitude will never run dry”.
